After trying to contact you numerous times for help with no response back I returned the bundle
Your initial email came in on Friday afternoon and i responded to it on Monday Morning with the return information, i also responded to your your email you sent to me on the same day. Your email provider may be filtering the responses into your spam folder you had mentioned wanting to exchange the camera system, was that the part you were returning?
After a few flights, I realized the clarity of this system. The view is digitally clear and detailed. The system provides a much better experience than analog. The pilot has to become accustomed to the system. The view isn't perfect like gopro footage. The flight experience is worth the 380$ sale price plus the antenna upgrade for another 75$ plus tax.. I've wanted to switch to digital for a while. I'm happy to have the Fatshark HD system.
Fun system to learn and have, especially for fpv enthusiasts. When the air unit is standing still or very close, the picture is clear and nice . The props and motors are in your LOS, blocking the view. This is the V2 with dual antenna. When at a couple hundred yards. The blurry view sucks. When going through trees or scraggly branches, the view is blurry. Ghost branches still exist. FW version 36.42.4. I flew a spot where my analog is clear and clean, but of course as all the reviews claim, this digital system is blurry and full of delay. Like i said, a fun little toy for the FPV enthusiast. In conclusion, my hdo2 set with rapid fire is much more clear and flyable.
I spent about $700 on this and can’t get the camera to work and isn’t worth the money. Wasted $700
Really liking the Fat Shark/Avatar/WS ecosystem. I've only been flying FPV for a few months but it has done everything I need and more. The ability to work with the 1s VTX in tiny whoops is great too. Unfortunately I bought into this right before the new Avatar Goggles X came out with analog support, so I will most likely be switching in the near future.
Firmware updates are easy for both the VTX and goggles. Image is clear, newly added features are very appreciated such as race mode. Like others have mentioned, running some better antennas is highly recommended. The stock Walksnail antennas penetration is not the best.
