Honestly one of the best bags I've owned, easy to use, plenty of space from my 5in. Quads to my tiny whoops. Lipos, tools, transmitter and both my goggles, fit
Very great fpv backpack
Holds all of my Son's drones, batteries and remotes.
This bag is *almost* perfect, and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner AND for buying 2 other (inferior) bags before it. Better late than never, I guess!
Pros:
- I freakin' LOVE the quick access bays on the sides... I truly can "rip and dip" without having to ever open the main compartment. (And I do it a lot!)
- The matching battery case for the lower side access bay is seriously perfect. *chef's kiss*
- There's plenty of storage room for a full day of flying.... drones, batteries, tools, chargers, multiple goggles, all of it... plus there's molle webbing on the back, so I can expand a bit if needed.
- The inner foam padding is decently thick and feels well-made. It's much better than some other bags I've tried, for sure.
- Sewing quality, straps, buckles, and zippers all seem very strong/durable throughout. I haven't had this bag long enough to back that claim up, though...
- The straps are comfortable and feel super thick, sturdy, and well-padded... and they are easy to adjust.
- The "open from the back" design is great! I no longer have a muddy/wet back after putting my backpack on after a session in the woods... and that extra flip-out panel is perfect.
Cons -- there's really only 2, but they're both pretty annoying:
- I really wish the top compartment had a velcro strap in it, like pretty much *all* the other major bags have. I'll probably just end up sewing my own in... as I really don't want my $300 radio flopping around in there if my bag rolls down a steep hill, takes a fall off a chair, etc.
- No waist straps. Where I live, I'm often going up and down mountainous areas with my gear... and having a waist strap on a big bag like this is a game-changer. I'll definitely have to leave this bag at home if I'm going to do any real hiking, unfortunately... :(
