Q6AC 1000W Quad Channel 1-6S AC/DC Smart Charger with XT30 & XT60

I purchased this charger from RR after traveling with another RR Pilot and borrowing his ToolkitRCs that he had with him. I was using a smaller 2 channel as my travel charger and having 4 channels, 2 of which have both XT30 and XT60 made this a no brainer. During the 7th month, I was using this charger away from home and suddenly the AC side just went out. We tested it and confirmed that the DC input was still working, but AC was dead. I contacted RR, and since it had been more than 6 months, it was something I needed to take up with ToolkitRC. I opened a support ticket and they replied in a few days with a question. I responded to that question, 10 days go by, I follow up again with ToolkitRC, another 7 days go by and I add RR Support to the thread. I made sure to let RR Support know this was so they could see what I was getting regarding support from Toolkit RC. Another 10 days go by, and nothing from ToolKitRC, but RR jumped in and basically told ToolKitRC that they were replacing my charger and Toolkit needed to settle up with RR on their next order. TBH I wasn’t expecting that, but I’m thankful to RR for taking care of their customers. It does make me regret buying the ToolkitRC Charger and given the service level from Toolkit, I couldn’t recommend them. I want to thank RR for stepping up, but Toolkit won’t be getting any more $$ from me.

Hey guys, I’m new to all this. I wanted to to order a kit but you were out of stock. I thought it would be a good idea to order some ancillaries to stay ahead. I ordered batteries and they don’t see to be compatible with the charger. Please let me know if we can schedule a phone call to remedy the situation. Thank you!

Fantastic charger, until approx. 20 days of light use and I heard a beep, loud popping, and a cloud of smoke and ran over to find all my 6S LIPOs perfectly fine but the charger dead and unable to turn back on. The LIPOs were charging for 5+ mins at that point so unlikely to be user error.

Very disappointed. Rating at 3 because it was a great charger until it died.

Works great no issues that I can see.
