To simplify Betaflight setup, the Brave F7 Flight Controller will power peripheral accessories via USB when connected to a computer. However, if you're using a high-power VTX (Walksnail Avatar), you may experience Betaflight connectivity issues. If this happens, disconnect your VTX or connect a battery while you're plugged into a computer.

Received my FC dead on arrival. Emailed and sent pictures as requested and complete radio silence from Rotor Riot for almost a week now. Terrible experience and customer service
We’re running a special project and the Brave FC is a part of our build and wow just really impressed about the Brave FC Performance and easy way in every way.! Love the self test beep! It’s a new ID for the local industry. And I have to mention the amazing support from this guys!
Very Happy with the ESC!
I gave this board two chances. The first Brave F7 I bought went into constant boot loops until it finally died, and I assumed maybe I had caused the issue. I bought a second one, and it did the exact same thing — straight into unstable boot loops until it cooked itself. Both were completely unusable.
I’ve been flying and building for years and have set up plenty of F4/F7 controllers without problems. This isn’t a setup or wiring mistake — the board itself is unreliable. For me, that’s two out of two that were dead-on-arrival or died within minutes.
If you need a dependable flight controller, look elsewhere.
All I had was the ESC and VTX plug and play cords in. I hooked up a usb C cord and could see the settings in betaflight. The FC started getting really hot especially compared to the T-Motor Velox F411 Lite Flight Controller I previously had plugged in but couldnt get OSD to work with my o4 pro so i tried the rotor riot FC. Once I plugged in the 6s battery the flight controller blew no more lights and wont connect anymore
