First Impression...

Just got it installed, updated, paired and set up with Goggles X. No issues.

However, sitting on the bench on the 25w setting in front of a 5" computer case fan...it was overheating? Hope that's not an issue in flight!

First thing you will have difficulty with is binding. I use goggle x avatars, if your firmware is updated to the latest version i.e. 38. At this time, you may be able to bind to moonlight vtx with its latest version of 15. Firmware. You will need to play with the janky update cable making sure the white wire of the bundle is orientated to the dot on the vtx. And also the dvr as the same orientation without a dot to add confusion. U may be able to plug the cable in either way so pay attention. After loading your firmware in the unit successfully (many tries with the janky cable) you may be able to bind to your goggles. First thing you will see is firmware mismatch (you have to skip because it is no matter what). If your unable to bind after messing with it, you may have to add the fcc unlock procedure to your goggle x firmware due to start up differences as I did. Picture quality at night is a little better than avatar hd pro vtx. If you already have avatar hd pro v2 I would not purchase moonlight. My moonlight vtx lasted 24hrs with no crashes, no overheats, no water or contaminants. I feel the moonlight is under developed. Bad tastes are: very large vtx/ firmware mismatch reminders every boot up/ difficult to bind/ boot-update cable is unclear of direction, flimsy and produces bad connections (janky). Construction/lack of clear directions/firmware problems with having to do the fcc unlock in order to bind at all. These lead me to have a sour experience and feel this product was an afterthought in production. P.s. I'm still hoping for comunication about an exchange or otherwise ROTOR RIOT. You are my favorite fpv store even after the lack of communication. I know you guys are going through it down there with the hurricanes! Be safe!
