Fat Shark Pro Start FPV Drone Kit

Upon receiving the kit, the charger display went out. I was using the provided cables and GAN charging block. I have reached out to support about this issue and the response time is averaging 48 hours per correspondence. Each time they have asked me to do steps I have already previously confirmed I have tried without a change in the chargers behavior. It beeps and can start charging but there is no display so no way to adjust the voltage and charging amps. The last email from Rotor said they were shipping me a new cable, even though I have many known good type C cables rated for PD charging that all show the same behavior with the charger. They also asked me to take additional photos of the issue, which I have already previously shared. This has been going on for 2 weeks and now I am unable to take the kit with me on vacation to get some practice flying. Really want to like the kit, but the support has made this a very poor experience.

I bought this kit over a month ago and have yet been able to fly. It came broken out of the box. I had emailed support to see if it was a fixable problem. but received no help from them. Here I am, a month later, after I returned the item, and still no refund in my account and down another 60 dollars for the return fee. Pick a better company with better customer support.

If you start with a simulator you'll get the hang of this quick and have a ton of fun. So awesome to fly so high and see everything around. So many cool things you could do. But mine has problems with the dvr recording and playback. It basically doesn't work. Then it would randomly lose camera feed and telemetry with full battery and line of sight for no reason. The last time this happened while flying the drone disappeared and was lost. I explained what happened to Rotor Riot while purchasing another drone and they didn't take any responsibility for the issue. I did buy another drone so basically lost $350 but I wouldn't buy from them again if their product is this flake. If something isn't working right, don't hesitate to call and demand a replacement.

This might be the worst drone kit I've purchased to date. Nothing but problems since day 1. First issue I had was a defective battery for the goggles, the port where the plug goes into the battery was faulty, the goggles lost power and reset midflight, and I wrecked my drone. 1 of the 4 antennas literally fell apart when i was **** it onto the goggles, into 3 pieces. and I have already had to replace the motors on the vision 40 because half of them stopped working already for no apparent reason. I have hardly flown this kit, maybe 8-10 batteries max. I also can't figure out to get a solid signal to the goggles more than 25 feet away from myself. Really wish I didn't waste $500+ on these poor-quality components.

Everything was super easy to get the air and i been having a blast flying it indoors. It’s usually very windy where i live so this little kit was perfect. I usually fly analog so it was a nice upgrade. As far as durability, well there’s not a scratch on it. I’ve crashed countless times trying to fly to the smallest gap and it still looks new.
