The Bubito is absolutely phenomenal. As someone with next to no experience, this quadcopter is perfect for learning and to be honest excelling In freestyle. It's not easy by any means, but I didn't decide to take up the Hobby because I thought it would be easy. It's a learning experience with more crashes than I'd like to admit, but this thing can take it. I mean really take it, I'm insanely impressed with the durability. If five stars is the max I can give it then five stars it is!
The Bubito is a result of getting all the variables conquered during design. There is no other micro drone in the market with this design. The tuning and settings are great, please don’t touch them if you don’t know what you are doing. The power to weight ratio feels like that much higher than a 5 inch and so do the flying characteristics. My friends who fly HD have purchased a Bubito kit specifically to fly this drone. I currently own 2 of these and may get another one. My 14 yo daughter and 11 yo son really enjoy this kit. I recommend you get yourself at least 10 batteries to maximize flight time. If you can tune on Betaflight, you can make this drone as docile as you want it by just lowering the FFgain to a level you feel confident with.
Out of the box yesterday and I haven’t gotten it in the air yet. One motor will sometimes idle with the rest when arming, but will quickly stop and won’t start again when trying to re arm. No response from rotor riot support yet but hoping to get this figured out.
To start this could have been a 5 star purchase but I ran into a few issues down the road.
After flying the drone a few times in level mode it developed a constant drift, I learned later this is from the flight controller and a problem in beta flight although I switched to acro mode and the drift goes away. Rotor riot also responded to my emails within a day so gets a bonus point.
Overall great purchase, this thing is super fast.
This little whoop wants to breakout of captivity.
You can play with this outside, a little strong for indoor. But, love it!
