Serves its purpose

I bought this radio for the purpose of keeping in my edc travel bag so I can practice on sim. I travel full time for work and space is limited. It’s a little small for my hands but it serves the purpose of bare minimum controller vs my boxer. For the price it’s worth just having in your collection. I’m left handed so I opened it up and adjusted the gimbals accordingly, wasn’t difficult. It’s a great radio!

Not quite the transmitter for me

It is a perfectly good transmitter for anyone with smaller hands but if you are trying for best value the radio master Boxer is a better value for a little more. I also spent $30 for the 18650 batteries so I basically spent the same amount of money as the radio master boxer. So good radio but not for me.

Excellent pocket radio for a mini whoop kit

I love the size of this radio and the fact that it uses standard 18650 cells. It's a perfectly sized to go along with my mini whoop portable kit. The only thing I change is the translucent case - I'd prefer simple black case like it's big brother TX16.

Affordable intro into FPV

I bought the RM Pocket because it was an affordable controller that I could use to train on a PC simulator but could also be used with ExpressLRS to build my first FPV drone in the future. I have smaller hands so the compact size doesn’t bother me and the small number of switches are enough for arming and flipping the simulation drones. Zero regrets of making this my first purchase.
