I love my TanQ S! I chose this kit to get the experience building a quadcopter without having to immediately learn about all the components and various tradeoffs. Like building a PC with all the Windows issues, the process had a few challenging moments but the RR guys helpful, albeit by email and not via phone (like others have mentioned). Sean did a great job putting this little monster together and I think it flies like a dream and so far has survived all my crashes with barely a broken prop.
Extremely disappointed with the riot team here, order my first build ever super excited to build it and ….found out I got sent the wrong AIO. Cool they send me the correct part next day air………but then I was missing the correct wire to connect the vtx, which I still havent heard back from? AND antenna parts issues had to be solved as well(waiting on new next day air parts). I get it we’re humans and mess up but 3 problems with one kit, cmon guys. This actually soured my experience in all this quite a bit, drone is still just sitting there till I sort the wire thing out and get the new antennas situated as well. Customer service was very bland as well, no questions asked or confirmations just follow up emails with the New part going out….not trying to be a Karen here but this could’ve been handled better. I even asked for a phone call to straighten things over the phone to avoid this much confusion. Sorry guys just really upset with the service on this one.
Love the Tanq S, had first flight today. Even tho it came with a different AIO as advertised and without the anti slip pad for the battery I’m glad I purchased it. Solid beast frame
Love this quad! Easy to build and it’s super strong. Perfect size! I have the Tanq-2 as well and this is the perfect complement to it.
This was my first build and although the YouTube video by Sean had the Mamba FC, it still wasn’t difficult to figure out. The drone is very strong which helps since I’ve never flown full acro and access to the 3D prints have helped make it my own. Thanks!
