Perfect for the first timer

Honestly, this little guy is awesome! Ive always had the cheap boxstore brand ones to fly around and fart with. Decided to get this to see how I liked it. The beginner mode is very nice to get used to the quad. I started flying it line of sight to get used to it. After I got comfortable with it in mode one I went to the next stage up. Big difference between the two yet not to much. Able to do flips, power loops and what not. Then mode 3. You are the gyro. How you control it is how its gonna act. I am definitely guilty of thinking I had enough room to save a loop and just plowed it into the ground. Took it like a champ tho! The one thing I do see as a concern is the flight time. If your doing acrobatics, you will run out of battery quickly but if your just flying it to get used to fpv and seeing how you like it. Ive got multiple 5 min runs. Definitely get some spare batteries and the fast charger too, youll thank yourself later when youre sitting on the couch waiting for the batteries to charge up. The googles are nice, Took me a second to figure out how to pair it, after that it auto connects. I do have to say, where the bridge of your nose is, itll be a little painful. Just because its a hard plastic. Overall, A solid 4/5 stars for me, the only thing I can say is the googles and the nose issue but thats the only thing Ive got to say bad about it!

Great beginner bundle

This is my first entry in FPV drones so I wanted a bundle that had everything I needed to get started. I researched a bunch and ended up going with the Cetus X. It has been a really great drone, and way more powerful than I thought it would be. Being a beginner I have crash this thing a bunch of times and it still works greats. I also like how everything is setup to work out of the box. The controller and goggles all just connect to the drone by turning them on and you are ready to fly. I would recommend this to any beginner.

Worse Drone Kit I've had. After one flight the quad started fast flash all kinds of lights. I wasted so much time and energy researching all the different issues and how to fix them on betaflight and nothing worked.

Terrible customer service

I bought this drone three to four weeks ago. I’ve had some trouble with it freaking out on me. I know that they are pretty technical so I’ve been trying to call rotor riot for weeks to get some technical support. All I’ve gotten is an answering machine to which I left messages and haven’t gotten any replies. I want to believe in these guys but they haven’t shown me any reason to.

Hello Justin,

I am the only Support Rep at Rotor Riot so my time to use the phone is limited, i did however send you an Email asking for photos and a description of the issues at hand, we need these in order to start the defective return process.
