Great build and tune.
Once I got it bound to my Radiomaster Pocket and tuned the channels it was a great maiden flight. I got it through my basketball hoop twice and flew it through some old cars with no windows just sitting on the property Rust Valley style.
Definitely not an indoor drone unless you're very skilled and have Jedi level reflexes.
This little 1s rips, Great for indoor practice And the bill looks great. Everything was tight. All the solder joints were perfect A1 build.
I’m an experienced pilot and here is my review. Drone is stable in the air once you adjust your rate to your liking. Bubito’s rates where too sensitive around middle stick for me. The tune is perfect. No propwash, no weird noises, just stable. It is surreal how my brain feels like it is flying a bigger drone. Requires no adjustment of my flying style to fly this thing. I have crashed over 10 times already and not a prop has bent. The camera angle is adjustable by sliding the camera mount up a bit. The drone won’t drift when applying only yaw during hover and spins flat. I lowered the throttle limit to 75% scaled option with a throttle expo of 25%. It’s a good idea to check the CG of the Bubito when battery is installed for better flight characteristics, even though there are no negative behaviors with a bad CG. That’s why I say that Bubito is Fueguito! My friends that do not fly at all love the Bubito because of it’s tiny characteristics. With slower rates, this Bubito could be sold as a great starter package with Fat Shark Echo goggles, Pocket controller and 8 batteries and charger at a price that rivals other entry level starter packages like EMAX, while offering a more custom and memorable experience. Amazing drone! Almost had trouble connecting to my elrs.. I almost had to return it. The USB slot is accessible if you screw it open..
But! You can also have bubito connected to a battery, wait a couple seconds until it goes to wifi mode (you can also use this to edit your binding phrase) and in wifi mode you can wirelessly connect to beta flight. This allowed me to tweak the drone to my desired setting. Amazing drone after that!
It's so light! It's so fast, it's extremely portable.
