Brand new one of them almost caught fire on my parallel charger, got it outside in time.

Hello James,

Before you connect all of the batteries to balance charge them you need to make sure they are all the same Mah rating and withing .02 volts of each other as well. Any variations in those two while balance charging is dangerous as the board is reading all of the batteries connected to it as a single battery and it is going to feed the same voltage into each one until it reaches the total Mah rating at 4.2 volts.
