To simplify Betaflight setup, the Brave F7 Flight Controller will power peripheral accessories via USB when connected to a computer. However, if you're using a high-power VTX (Walksnail Avatar), you may experience Betaflight connectivity issues. If this happens, disconnect your VTX or connect a battery while you're plugged into a computer.

Extremely disappointed. I installed the Rotor Riot Brave F7 flight controller on a 7-inch quad, paired with the Rotor Riot 55A ESC. I even ran it with a 20% amp buffer and made sure there was plenty of space between the FC and ESC to avoid any heat issues. Despite all precautions, an onboard component burned out just five minutes into my very first flight, causing the drone to drop out of the sky. Total failure. For a product marketed as durable and performance-ready, this was a huge letdown. Would not recommend.
Paired it with rr esc easy plug and play. Default settings required no fine tuning. I was having receiver problems, and the fact that I could disconnect the plug to isolate the component saved a lot of soldering
I saw someone's else's review say that they burned out their FC on 6s. My guess they messed up in soldering. This FC works great. No issues, no complaints and I love the connections for all the components it's so much easier. You solder once to the component your plugging into and then you just plug and play. Also it's an American Made component about time. No more Chinese junk for me.

Gave these a try and lemme tell you it’s a sweet stack and works so good! It simplifies and cleans up wiring and I plan to use these from here on out. Grab one and see y’all!
