Vision40 40mm HD Built & Tuned Drone - 2S

This was the first quad I’ve ever bought & I still haven’t been able to fly it. Be aware that the whoop is sent out with a BT3.0 Battery connector soldered on & not the XT-30 connector. Rotor riot does not seem to sell BT3.0 Batteries so if you bought the 2s batteries as well either be prepared to solder the XT-30 connector on or buy BT3.0 Batteries from another vendor. As a new flier I am not planning on learning how to solder on a micro so this is a bit of a hurdle for me.

This is listed in the specifications however as a new flier this caught me off guard and despite having the drone for over a week it has just served as a nice room decoration for me.

I placed an order for DJI o4 received and elrs. I received the walk snail version incorrectly. Waiting for my product to be shipped to me.

My 2S V40 arrived with significant video jello that im still trying to fix. On the first flight, I had multiple motor screws and even a prop come off. When your quad arrives please check the screws (don’t over tighten) and props to make sure they’re seated correctly.

My Mob8 performs significantly better in seemingly every way and at a cheaper price.

I own the 1s and 2s versions and enjoy flying both. The 2s flies amazing outside doing acro, and I use the 1s to train inside when the weather is bad. Has more than enough punch running the lava 550mAh batteries and plenty of run time, close to 5-6 minutes if I fly with it in mind. 100% recommend, one of my favorite tiny whoops.

lots of jello, mostly rectified by turning off Rocksteady, a big thanks to the review that pointed that out. I didn't try changing the PWM frequency so that may also improve things. sometimes I have issues with the props hitting the frame, but I've only tried one size other than the ones it came with. the canopy is AWESOME, best of any drone I've had. small thing but gives me a ton of confidence. no issues with keeping the O4 cool.
