This starter kit has been a great introduction into the fpv world. Paired with quite a few hours on simulators, I have quickly started wanting more. I would definitely recommend this anyone new to droning.
Tiny whoop is the way to go for getting into fpv. The vision 40 is awesome indoors and outdoors! And walksnail makes the experience that much better. Shipping was on time and accurate.
All parts are very good quality,everything was correct as described ,arrived on time well packed. I have been using rotor riot for my drone equipment and i am happy with my orders
Someone said it earlier but yeah..... start your FPV journey here.... So I did. Previous to this I have only had a Holy Stone camera drone and it is heavily assisted. I tried analog fpv on a friends but had a hard time judging distance for some reason. 1 day with this kit and I am already comfortable trying small gaps and pushing my luck. After 100+ crashes a few weeks in the only thing that happened was the battery connection came undone from the wiring. Planning on trying a skylite next!
Personal Opinion for Rotor Riot from a complete noob:
1. Add charging recommendations. Yeah its not hard to figure out but some of us are dumb.
2. Include options to upgrade goggle antennas in this kit
3. Any chance you can resell the Lava BetaFPV batteries? I am getting a full 2 minutes extra of flight time on these. The batteries included 3 minutes at most. White and blue BetaFPV 4 minutes and a easy 5 - 5 1/2 for the lavas.
4. Add a bit more solder on the bt2.0 connector. Mine came undone on the 5th battery swap. I think I had only crashed it once at this point.
5. Unlock the goggles! How awesome would that be just to see that extra bit of service. I want to mention.... I do appreciate the upgraded batteries in the zorro ;) that was a nice surprise and did not go unnoticed.
Everything flew great out of the box, no work needed on my end. Everything together was a good value and I’ve been loving it since I bought it. I had a question during the shipping process and they got back to me pretty quickly. All in all, buying from rotor riot has been a good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. My order said 1-2 week lead time but from the time I ordered it, it was at my door 4 or 5 days later!! Thank you guys!
